A small showcase of the remarkable Allen Isaacman Collection, unique to the UWC Library Special Collections. The story of Mozambique is not only the story of FRELIMO and the liberation struggle, but also the legacy of Portuguese colonialism and the international dimensions of the conflict. Allen Isaacman has a long trajectory doing Mozambican history, including research into the Cahora Bassa dam, it’s political significance and the lives of those disrupted by it.
